2021.12.09 04:27 CMoy1980 Rounds vs Coins, Online vs LCS
I live in California where there's a 7.5% sales tax on bullion, so if I buy silver from say, Apmex, I pay spot + premium + sales tax.
However, I just did the math, and it turns out I'd pay less for generic rounds on Apmex with their premium and CA sales tax, than I would at an out of state LCS that charges no sales tax but does charge $7 over spot.
The opposite is true for coins. It costs less to buy ASEs from an out of state LCS than on Apmex with their premium.
Obviously this varies from LCS to LCS and state to state, but I wonder if there is a general rule that people follow? I'm think from now on, I'll buy generic rounds online, but if I want coins, I'll wait until I can go to my out of state LCS. Anyone else have a similar strategy?

2021.12.09 04:27 testaccount52 How do YOU manage quarterly and annual filings and compliance stuff across multiple US states?
We've been 100% virtual since before the pandemic, but have grown a decent bit over the past couple years. I have W2 employees in about 7 different states, all with their own filing rules, times, requirements, etc. I'm constantly delinquent with one state or another due to either the hoops I have to jump through, or plain old forgetting a filing.
I have to imagine there's a ton of small businesses in the same position. How do you handle all the things standard payroll providers don't? The owner of the company I used to work for suggested ADP TotalSource. I was meh about it when I worked there, and I'm pretty happy with how I do payroll today. I'm not necessarily opposed to switching payroll providers, but ADP would be substantially more than I'm paying today. It's all the compliance stuff with all the states I have employees in that's killing me.

So, what if vigil was a boon? If it affected an area instead of having to find the survivor with it and then get exhaustion back or recover from broken? I love the perk, why not make it a little more interesting?

2021.12.09 04:27 EintrachtAdler Would my Ruger American .243 sell better with or without the scope?
Basically, I am selling my Ruger American rifle in .243 that I bought last year with the Vortex Crossfire II package to buy the exact same rifle in .308. To get the most money out of it, for those of you familiar with the used market, would I get the most money by trying to sell the .243 with the scope and then by the same package again in .308, or will leaving the scope off not lower the price people are willing to pay that much and it would be better to just buy the base .308 rifle and move the scope over from the .243? Hopefully that makes sense.

Whats the next best armor after enigma and bramble? For a poison and bone necro. I can earn some decent runes but not quit those rune words. What would be the next best thing. I have skin of the viper magi but I feel like theirs still something better then that. Any ideas?

2021.12.09 04:27 alediaferia Discuss post: Why Agile Sucks for Building Quality Software
Hey, I recently read this post about how Agile sucks for building quality software. It's not the first time I hear this type of argument against Agile but this post probably did a good job on sparking a few thoughts in my head.
If I haven't completely overlooked the post, the main argument is on how continuous refactoring and iteration will never lead to solid high-quality software.
I also find this quote ironic:
Designs are one of the easiest and cheapest things to change. Existing code is what is hard and expensive to change. How do you change design if you don't put something out there to validate your assumptions?
